Ambient cure lining

CIPP lining that hardens at normal ground temperature without heat or UV.

Ambient cure lining uses a two-part resin system that hardens over several hours at the temperature of the surrounding ground without the need for hot water, steam or UV equipment. Cure times typically range from two to six hours depending on resin formulation and ground temperature, with shorter pot life in summer and slower cure in winter. The technique suits straightforward residential drains in London where bringing a steam or UV rig into a small rear garden would be impractical. Engineers must factor seasonal temperature swings into the resin choice and protect the work zone from temperature extremes during the cure window. Ambient cure liners must meet the structural performance requirements of BS EN ISO 11296-4 before being returned to service.
