A mini jetter is a compact, often electric-powered jetter used to clear small bore waste pipes from 22mm up to around 75mm in diameter. Typical units deliver 1,500 to 2,500 psi at 8 to 12 litres per minute through a small flexible hose, usually 15 to 30 metres long. The lightweight form factor makes them suitable for use inside London flats and basement bathrooms, where larger jetters cannot be deployed. Mini jetters are commonly used on basin, bath and shower wastes, urinals, and small kitchen drains. They are not adequate for full lateral drains and operators must still follow the Water Jetting Association Code of Practice for training, hose handling and personal protective equipment, even though the working pressures are lower than for full-size machines.
